RedTail Solutions Announces Steve Horton As Chief Marketing Officer

Brings More Than 20 Years’ Experience in Technology, CPG, Wholesale Distribution, Global Standards Industries

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 29, 2005 - RedTail Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of outsourced solutions to middle market suppliers for electronic trading, today announced that Steve Horton, formerly CEO of Integrated Software Systems, has joined the company as chief marketing officer.

Horton is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO with more than 20 years of experience in the technology, CPG, wholesale distribution and global standards industries. Prior to joining RedTail, he was founder and CEO of Integrated Software Systems (ISS), a leading provider of data synchronization and supply chain solutions. Under Horton’s leadership, ISS became a pioneer in the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) community, capturing 25 percent of market share. Horton’s vision also led to the launching of the industry’s first hosted data synchronization solution for mid-market manufacturers.

Before ISS, Horton also participated in several other successful ventures as a co-founder, including a global procurement company and National Commodity Buying group (SPN, Inc.) Horton is active in several industry associations and standards governing bodies, including UCC-GS1-US, ISYNC (formerly UCCnet-Transora), GDSN, GMA, NFI, AHMA, IDEA and NEMA.
