Benchmark Brands hires a new director of database marketing

In his new position, James Davis will have online and print responsibility for the FootSmart.com marketing data base.

Benchmark Brands, which operates FootSmart.com, has hired James Davis as vice president of circulation, database e-CRM. In his new position, Davis will have online and print responsibility for the Foot Smart marketing database.

He will also develop and execute the annual print marketing plans, including customer acquisition, retention and reactivation programs, as well as maintain and analyze the company’s customer database maintained at Experian Inc. He will report directly to Alan Beychok, president of Benchmark Brands.

Davis joins Benchmark Brands from Office Depot Inc., where he was the director of database marketing and systems.
