Williams-Sonoma grows Q3 web sales by 42.2%

Williams-Sonoma Inc. today reported third quarter web sales of $197.5 million, up 42.2% from $138.9 million in 2004’s third quarter. Web sales accounted for about 40% of the company’s direct marketing sales of $382.9 million.

Williams-Sonoma Inc. today reported third quarter web sales of $197.5 million, up 42.2% from $138.9 million in 2004’s third quarter. Web sales accounted for about 40% of the company’s direct marketing sales of $382.9 million, which increased 16.5% from $328.6 million in the year-earlier period.

Overall net revenues for the company totaled $827.6 million in the third quarter, a 14.5% year-over-year increase. Net earnings increased 30.3% to $37.1 million in the quarter, up from $28.5 million a year ago.
