Q3 web sales at Barnes & Noble rise 8% year-over-year

Web sales at Barnes & Noble rose 8% to $99.4 million for the third quarter ended Oct. 29, up from $92.03 million a year ago, the retailer said today.

Web sales at Barnes & Noble rose 8% for the third quarter ended Oct. 29, up from $92.03 million a year ago, the retailer said today.

By comparison, total sales rose 4% to $1.08 billion from $1.04 billion, and comp store sales 1.5%, the company said.

Q3 web sales accounted for 9.2% of total sales, up from 8.8% a year ago, Barnes & Noble said.
