Integrates Inceptor’s pay-per-click bid management engine into IonAd Manager family
MAYNARD, Mass., Nov. 7, 2005 – Inceptor, a leading search engine marketing company, today announced that Bluestreak, a leading online marketing company, will roll out a new PPC bid management system based on Inceptor’s BidCenter™ pay-per-click bid management technology.
Bluestreak’s new IonSearch bid management platform offers marketers a self-service pay-per-click bid management tool that automates the complex keyword bidding process. IonSearch utilizes Inceptor’s patent-pending mutual fund optimization technique – called “Portfolio Optimizer” – that helps marketers fine-tune bids to get the best possible advertising rates and returns from search engines such as Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. It employs optimization techniques similar to those that professional money managers use to optimize mutual funds. Advertisers create groups of keywords in IonSearch and let optimization algorithms determine individual bids to meet a business goal.
IonSearch will be offered as a self-contained module with Bluestreak’s IonAd Manager, a hosted online advertising suite for executing advertising campaigns across all Internet media. IonAd offers campaign management, execution and analysis together with integrated rich media and optimization.
“Pay-per-click bid management is a natural extension to Bluestreak’s platform,” said Vic Odryna, CEO of Inceptor. “By adding a sophisticated PPC bid management system to IonAd’s campaign management, execution and analysis capabilities, marketers can ensure that they bid on the best keywords at the best time for the best ROI by analyzing customers’ response to keyword ads.” IonSearch’s integration with other IonAd analytic tools will also let marketers better control their keyword bidding by analyzing the success of these keywords with the behavior it triggered from customers visiting a Web site. The analytic capabilities will let users, for example, link the purchase of specific keywords to specific products purchased on a retailer’s Web site.
“We provide deep cross-discipline online marketing expertise to our clients, and many have told us that they want to manage their search bidding themselves, but lack the expertise and resources to manage them effectively,” said Annette Tonti, CEO, Bluestreak. “Inceptor’s BidCenter technology embodied in IonSearch will let marketers and advertising agencies do that with capabilities that were only previously available through search engine marketing firms or other third-party providers.”
Bluestreak is an eMarketing services provider with a track record for dramatically increasing the performance and ROI of online initiatives for marketers and agencies around the world.
