Tumbleweed Communications names a new CEO and chairman

Craig D. Brennan is the new president, CEO and chairman of Tumbleweed Communications, a provider of e-mail security, managed file transfer and identity validation software.

Craig D. Brennan is the new president, CEO and chairman of Tumbleweed Communications Corp., a provider of e-mail security, managed file transfer and identity validation software.

Brennan succeeds Jeffrey C. Smith, who will remain on the Tumbleweed board and serve as a special adviser to the CEO.

Brennan previously served as president and CEO of Brio Software Inc., an enterprise software company. Prior to Brio, he served as senior vice president of the customer relationship group at Oracle Corp., and led the Siebel-CRM practice at Deloitte Consulting.
