Ritz Interactive names a new EVP

Scott F. Neamand, the chief financial officer at Ritz Interactive, is now an executive vice president reporting to CEO Fred Lerner. Neamand, who joined the company in March 2004, also serves as corporate secretary.

Ritz Interactive Inc. has promoted Scott F. Neamand to executive vice president. Neamand, the company’s chief financial officer, joined Ritz Interactive in March 2004 from TOKYOPOP Inc., a privately-held entertainment publishing company, where he also served as CFO.

Neamand has made a career in financial management at e-commerce companies. Prior to his employment with Ritz Interactive and TOKYOPOP, he was vice president, finance and controller from June 1999 to September 2000 and then senior vice president, finance and CFO from October 2000 to May 2001 at Egreetings Network Inc., an Internet greeting card and content services company.

At Ritz Interactive, Neamand also serves as the corporate secretary. Neamand’s promotion was noted in Ritz Interactive’s recent S-1 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
