Mondosoft’s site search solution helps Coleman meet the primary objective of its web site: deliver an online marketing tool that promotes the valuable Coleman brand, in complement with its overall marketing strategy and leveraging its advertising campaigns.
Coleman.com is an online marketing presence featuring a rich product catalogue as well as content including technical support, expert info, instruction manuals and dealer locations. For its site search solution Coleman required a tool that worked as a database look-up, and that would also index and return such unstructured content as press releases, checklists and product support questions. MondoSearch met Coleman’s infrastructure requirements, and also fit into the site’s existing SQL server database environment.

The site is subject to continuous optimization and shows excellent results: MondoSearch currently returns links for 87% of searches on the site, and site search results show that nearly 100% of visitors click on the links provided.
Beyond search and categorization functions, MondoSearch allows Coleman to optimize search results to drive marketing initiatives, such as special seasonal promotions.
