AC Lens, an online contact lens retailer, expects sales to exceed $10 million by year-end, Peter Clarkson, CEO, tells InternetRetailer.com. Sales for the first half of this year increased 57% from the first half of 2004.

To accommodate the growth, the retailer recently moved into a facility on the west side of Columbus, OH, that includes a 10,000-square-foot, custom-designed warehouse and a 25-seat call center.

The company sells brand name contacts, reading glasses, vitamins and eye drops directly to consumers.
