The Right Start Selects RightNow CRM to Sell, Service and Market to Customers Across Bricks-and-Mortar, Catalog and Online Channels

BOZEMAN, Mont., May 16 -- RightNow(R) Technologies , a leading provider of on demand CRM software solutions, today announced The Right Start, the nation`s top specialty retailer of children`s products, is deploying RightNow CRM(TM) as its strategic customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

The Right Start will implement RightNow CRM to unify sales, customer service and marketing processes across its bricks-and-mortar, catalog and online channels. By doing so, the company will have the expectation to increase revenue, improve customer loyalty and streamline operations.

RightNow CRM will provide The Right Start with a 360-degree view of its customers and enable the company to more effectively engage them beginning in the pre-natal phase, carrying them through infancy, and well into the toddler years. For example, by notifying registry participants about a child`s changing needs and allowing parents to update the registries, The Right Start will both better serve its customers and increase registry-driven sales.

RightNow CRM will also help The Right Start take advantage of the synergies between its different retail channels and provide a consistent customer experience across them all.

In addition, RightNow`s unique self-learning technology will provide The Right Start`s staff with rich, up-to-date knowledge about both the company`s customers and its diverse products -- allowing them to provide more personalized and informative service.

"One of The Right Start`s primary competitive advantages as a specialty retailer is our ability to deliver a `high touch` customer relationship that helps parents make better, more informed buying decisions for their babies and toddlers," Hope Neiman, senior vice president of marketing and development at The Right Start, said. "RightNow CRM is a powerful platform for supporting this critical value proposition with deep customer insight, repeatable customer care best practices, and time-saving automation."

The Right Start selected RightNow based on its robust functionality, its complete coverage of the full customer relationship lifecycle, and its superior value.

Under RightNow`s on demand delivery model, The Right Start will reap the benefits of RightNow CRM without the capital investments in IT infrastructure and high software ownership costs associated with conventional CRM implementations.

"The Right Start is competing in a retail market where maintenance of close customer relationships and pro-active, profile-driven selling can pay tremendous dividends," Sean Forbes, vice president of marketing and business development at RightNow, said. "Along with being the easiest to implement, integrate and use on a daily basis, RightNow CRM is the only on demand solution available today with the technical capabilities necessary to fulfill these challenging business objectives across multiple retail channels."
