Ex-NexTag executive Greg Haslam has been named`s director of business development, responsible for developing strategic partnerships and recruiting retailers to participate in a new comparison shopping service.

Search engine, which plans to launch a comparison shopping service later this year, has named ex-NexTag executive Greg Haslam as director of business development. Haslam will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and recruiting retailers to participate in`s comparison shopping service.

At shopping comparison site NexTag, he managed the Product Shopping team responsible for thousands of online merchants. Previously he served as Director of Business Development and Marketing at in Cupertino, CA and as an Associate at Asia Pacific Ventures in Menlo Park, CA.

"Greg is an accomplished manager who brings to our company a deep knowledge of the comparison shopping space, a large network of retail partners and a proven track record of success,” said Michael Yang, founder, president and CEO of “He’s ideally suited to meet the challenge of launching a world-class merchant network in a short period of time,” is a search engine for shopping. It indexes over 3.2 billion pages of shopping related information from over 40 million web sites and uses proprietary ranking technology to deliver information for shopping searches.
