Online retail sales up a meager 8% for week ending March 13

Online retail sales for the week ending March 13 were up 8% over the corresponding week a year ago, the slowest growth so far this year, reaching $1.4 billion from $1.29 billion, comScore reports.

Online retail sales for the week ending March 13 were up 8% over the corresponding week a year ago, the slowest growth so far this year, reaching $1.4 billion from $1.29 billion, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending March 12 were down 2.1% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

Online travel sales for week ending March 6 were up 27% $1.3 billion from $1.03 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
