BackCountry.com sales up 84% in 2004

BackCountry.com, an e-commerce site for specialty outdoor gear, reported $27 million in sales during 2004, up 84% from $14.7 million in 2003.

BackCountry.com, an e-commerce site for specialty outdoor gear, reported $27 million in sales during 2004, up 84% from $14.7 million in 2003.

BackCountry failed to meet its sales goals for 2004, but expects to return to the triple-digit growth of the previous seven years in 2005, says John Bresee, president and founder.
