San Diego - January 18, 2005 - Webmetrics, a provider of web site testing, monitoring and analytics services, today announced that the Company has partnered with Fry Inc., a leading e-commerce design, development and managed services provider, to jointly deliver load testing and external performance monitoring solutions to the retail market. Webmetrics` SiteStress and AppMonitor services will be delivered through Fry`s Managed Services to provide retailers with independent validation of the performance and uptime of the eCommerce solutions built and maintained by Fry. During a recent site development project for Lillian Vernon.com, Fry conducted load testing efforts using Webmetrics tools.

"Fry recognizes that page load and transaction speeds translate into online competitive advantage, which is what they deliver to their clients," says Tim Drees, CEO of Webmetrics. "The quality, performance and scalability of Fry`s retail sites have been proven both in its` load testing results, and through the offering of third-party services that monitor transaction performance and uptime. Fry utilizes Webmetrics SiteStress to benchmark transactional performance of retail sites at scaling user loads and to support capacity planning efforts. Load testing is often executed against a newly developed or significantly updated site. Fry can also provide clients with SiteMonitor and AppMonitor - hosted, subscription-based services from Webmetrics that can be used to test web sites and applications up to the minute from outside Fry`s firewall.

"Webmetrics streamlines the process of load testing - providing the technology, network and consultative expertise - allowing us to concentrate on core deployment requirements," says Rudy Pataro, Vice President and CTO for Fry. "Our combined experience helps us deliver tailored testing solutions for our customers, as well as independent verification of site performance and quality of the end-user experience."
