LOS ANGELES--Dec. 14, 2004--Shopzilla, Inc., a leading shopping search company, announced 70% growth in visitor traffic in November compared to the same month last year, which is more than five times the comparison shopping industry`s 13.4% growth rate for November. According to the latest November data from comScore, Shopzilla had nearly 15 million (14.9) unique visitors in November 2004. The increased traffic placed Shopzilla second among comparison shopping sites and accounted for more than a third (37%) of total comparison shopping visitor traffic.
Shopping search usage has been accelerating in the months leading up to the holidays. In September and October, Shopzilla experienced 68% and 47% year-over-year increases in visitors respectively, according to comScore.
