SellPath(SM) Product Links and SellPath(SM) Product Pinpointer services help consumers determine in-stock status of products online and in retail stores

Orlando, Fla. Nov. 17, 2004 Mirra Inc., developer of value-added digital content protection products for the consumer and home office markets, has selected Channel Intelligence, a commerce data interchange services company, to boost sales of its Mirra Personal Server(TM) and Mirra Digital Shoebox(TM) home backup servers among online retailers, value-added resellers (VARs) and affiliates throughout the retail distribution channel.

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Mirra selected Channel Intelligence`s commerce services to enhance Mirra`s product presence among online retail partners, including Amazon.com, Best Buy, CompUSA, Dell, Digitally Unique, New Egg, Ritz Camera and Wolf Camera. The channel partnership complements Mirra`s mix of in-store and Internet sales while it broadens the marketing of its innovative Mirra Personal Server and Mirra Digital Shoebox home servers that provide hands-free backup, automatic file synchronization of PCs, and free, secure photo- and file-sharing over the Web.

Channel Intelligence, based in suburban Orlando, Fla., is the only channel solution company that receives daily in-store stock status of all products for sale at some of the nation`s largest retailers, including Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, OfficeMax and RadioShack. Channel Intelligence knows the stock status of every product in every one of these stores every day as reported through its proprietary Commerce Data Interchange (CDI) platform, which functions as a data exchange for much of the world`s retail industry.

Mirra has implemented Channel Intelligence`s SellPath(SM) Product Links and SellPath(SM) Product Pinpointer services to complement an aggressive sales and marketing strategy during the 2004 holiday shopping season. SellPath Product Links increase sales by showing online customers where specific products are in stock and readily available for online purchase. The service encourages final purchase commitment through a convenient shopping experience.

SellPath Product Pinpointer targets the availability of specific products at the stores that regularly sell them and determines stock status for those items. Similar to the Product Links service, which works exclusively in an online environment, Product Pinpointer directs consumers to where they may go locally to view and purchase specific products at retail store locations.

"More than ever this holiday season, people will be grappling for ways to avert a digital disaster by protecting their photos, music and data files across multiple home computers," said Peter Radsliff, vice president of marketing at Mirra. "We chose Channel Intelligence to ensure people looking for a Mirra Personal Server can find it in stock both online or at their local store. Channel Intelligence is the gold standard of online shopping experiences and we count on them to link our customers to our products in the easiest and most effective manner to make the sale."

Mirra recently expanded its distribution among retail stores, including 480 Best Buy locations nationwide, which are expected to benefit through the use of Product Pinpointer during a hectic holiday shopping season.
