PROVO, UT – August 30, 2004 – Enhance Interactive (http://www.enhance.com), a leading provider of pay-for-performance search engine marketing services, and a subsidiary of Marchex, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHX) today announced the availability of its new paid listings management application program interface (API), providing its clients and business partners with much easier access to account creation and paid listings management capabilities.

The fully automated API enables any paid listings management company or advertising agency to easily create and manage their clients’ accounts and keyword listings on a real-time basis throughout Enhance Interactive’s distribution network of search engines and directories. Businesses of all sizes can participate, whether their needs involve one item or tens of thousands of requests. As an extension of this scalability, the API was designed to accommodate future Enhance Interactive account features as they are developed.

Three initial customers have begun using the paid listings management API for their respective clients: Fathom Online, a provider of performance-driven search engine marketing services; Rawhide Search Solutions, an Internet search traffic management company; and SendTraffic, a search engine marketing company.

“Enhance Interactive’s new API is an important addition to our service offerings, as it fully empowers advertising agencies, paid listings management partners, as well as individual companies of all sizes to effectively manage their keyword listings across our distribution network,” said Christopher Stevens, Enhance Interactive Chief Operating Officer. “Above all else, we believe that this API is one of the most robust and flexible in the industry and can accommodate new partnerships with any organization that is interested in driving more traffic to their advertisers.”
