Agreement Boosts Resume and Candidate Totals for Retail Job Board Leaders

MIAMI BEACH, FL (August 10, 2004) -- AllRetailJobs.com and canadianretail.com have signed an agreement to post applicable jobs on each other’s Web sites and to jointly market their services to major retail companies seeking employees in the U.S. and Canada. AllRetailJobs.com is the leading niche job board exclusively targeting the U.S. retail market, while canadianretail.com is the top Canadian retail job board.

Together, the two sites draw over 300,000 retail job seekers per month and currently list about 28,000 job openings. Their databases total more than 150,000 active resumes, while their collective client list of more than 4,000 retailers includes leading apparel, automotive, department and discount stores, electronics, hardware, home improvements, jewelry, office products, specialty, supermarket, telecom and video store chains.

"With the largest number of retail clients posting jobs online in North America, canadianretail.com and AllRetailJobs.com are able to offer retail job seekers an unparalleled selection of jobs," said Brenda Dumont, the president of canadianretail. "AllRetailJobs.com shares our devotion to promoting retail as a career. It’s an excellent shared-vision fit."

With client approval, Canadian jobs posted on AllRetailJobs.com will automatically be listed on canadianretail.com and vice-versa. The companies will market their services in retail magazines, Internet sources and newsletters, distributed to customers and potential clients. "The agreement of two such formidable job boards ensures that companies with stores in both countries get the best candidates," said Don Firth, the founder of AllRetailJobs.com. "We have long been an admirer of canadianretail. We’re delighted to partner with them."

Coincidentally, both AllRetailJobs.com and canadianretail.com launched in March 2001 and each board has grown rapidly to dominate the retail job markets in their respective countries. Job postings and revenues at AllRetailJobs.com soared 45 percent during the first half of 2004 and 43 percent for canadianretail.com. With consumer confidence rising again, and retail stores hiring more workers, both companies anticipate continued robust growth for the rest of the year.

"We expect business to continue surging," said Mr. Firth. "Most retailers now recognize the benefits of listing their open positions on the leading niche boards, exclusively targeting candidates with retail experience. With a three-year proven track record of success for retail candidate sourcing, our boards continue to be the only logical choice for retailers."
