Locked into top apparel/beauty sites, eBay won’t let go, NetRatings reports

EBay.com led retail apparel and beauty sites in traffic for the week ending July 4, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. EBay had the top two spots, with Clothing, Shoes & Accessories No. 1 and Jewelry and Watches No. 2.

EBay.com led retail apparel and beauty sites in traffic for the week ending July 4, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. EBay had the top two spots, with Clothing, Shoes & Accessories No. 1 and Jewelry and Watches No. 2.

The Top 10 sites and their visitors were:
eBay Clothing, Shoes & Accessories, 1.661 million
eBay Jewelry and Watches, 712,000
VictoriasSecret.com, 620,000
Avon, 611,000
Old Navy, 469,000
The Gap, 369,000
Lands’ End, 341,000
Mary Kay, 338,000
American Eagle, 330,000
Fredericks.com 267,000

Four of the sites-the two eBay sites, VictoriasSecret.com and OldNavy.com-also held four of the top five spots a year ago. InStyle was the fifth site a year ago.

Women dominated the category, 66% to 34% of all visitors.

The top consumer goods categories in online ad impressions for the week ending July 4, in millions, were:
