Movielink Selects New Components of ATG Customer Experience Platform to Expand Web Storefront Initiatives

Broadband VOD Movie Rental Service Purchases ATG Adaptive Customer Assistance™ and ATG Campaign Optimizer to Offer Further Options to Consumers

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – April 28, 2004 – ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., NASDAQ: ARTG), the software provider behind the Web’s richest customer experiences, today announced that Movielink, the leading broadband video-on-demand (VOD) service, has purchased ATG Adaptive Customer Assistance and ATG Campaign Optimizer as part of the latest phase of development for its online storefront powered by ATG technology.

The addition of ATG Adaptive Customer Assistance will allow Movielink to expand the self-service capabilities of its online storefront, which enables users to choose from an extensive selection of recently released films, as well as content from film libraries spanning a wide range of genres. The use of ATG Campaign Optimizer will allow for extensive split testing of multiple promotions and campaigns as the company continues to enhance merchandising and customize movie offerings based on user preference.

Movielink originally selected ATG to power its online storefront in 2002. ATG unveiled the ATG Adaptive Customer Assistance and ATG Campaign Optimizer solutions in March 2004.
