eBay has lock on top 2 apparel/accessories sites, Nielsen/NetRatings says

EBay’s clothing, shoes and accessories section hosted 2.84 million unique visitors the week ending April 4 and its jewelry and watches section hosted 1.04 million.

It’s going to take lot for any online apparel retailer to break into the top spot in terms of unique visitors: eBay.com has Nos. 1 and 2 sewn up by a large margin, according to the latest ranking of apparel and beauty sites from Nielsen/NetRatings. EBay’s clothing, shoes and accessories section hosted 2.84 million unique visitors the week ending April 4 and its jewelry and watches section hosted 1.04 million.

The top 10 apparel and beauty sites by visitors for the week ending April 4, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, were:

No big surprise that visitors were heavily female, with women making up 63% of visitors to apparel and beauty sites. 70% of visitors were age 35-54.

The top consumer goods industry segments advertising online the week ending April 4, and the number of impressions, according to Nielsen/NetRatings’ AdRelevance report, were:
