Digital Connexxions to launch new service in combination with USPS PLANET Barcode

Toronto, Canada – April 13, 2004 - Digital Connexxions Corp. (www.dconx.com), a provider of email and data services for publishers and direct marketers today announced that it will provide an email service through its SubscriberWorx product to simultaneously boost response rates of direct mail. When using the Confirm Planet Barcode Service by the USPS in combination with SubscriberWorx, triggered, targeted email can be deployed to the direct mail recipients either on an individual or campaign level.

To use the service, a mailer would need to provide Digital Connexxions with a file containing the name, postal address and email address of their customers at which point a code will be assigned to those customers to receive an email. Once the direct mail piece has been processed and sorted by the Postal Service, notification is received that the direct mail piece is about to be delivered. The Planet barcode that was processed will trigger the SubscriberWorx system to send an email to the customer whose mail has been processed. Reports are web-based and response data can be exported for further analysis.
