eBay leads shopping/travel sites in unique visitors, NetRatings says

EBay.com outstrips all shopping and travel sites in unique visitors, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. For the week ending March 28, eBay.com hosted 21.4 million unique visitors, nearly three times No. 2 Amazon.com, with 7.5 million.

EBay.com far outstrips all other shopping and travel sites in unique visitors, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. In its AdRelevance report for the week ending March 28, eBay.com hosted 21.4 million unique visitors, nearly three times No. 2 Amazon.com, with 7.5 million. Unique visitors to the top 10 shopping/travel sites totaled 33.1 million.

The top 10 online shopping/travel destinations for the week were:
eBay.com, 21.4 million
Amazon, 7.5 million
Yahoo Shopping, 3.5 million
Expedia.com, 3 million
Shopping.com, 2.9 million
WalMart.com, 2.3 million
Dell.com, 2.1 million
Travelocity.com, 2.1 million
Orbitz.com, 2 million
Target.com, 2 million

Nielsen/NetRatings reports that the top 10 consumer goods advertisers and ad impressions generated the week ending March 28 were:

Nestle USA Inc., 79.1 million
Avon Products Inc., 64.3 million
The New York Times Co., 47.8 million
Nike Inc., 43.2 million
LINE-X Franchise Development Corp., 19.6 million
Dow Jones & Co. Inc., 18.6 million
IncreaseYourHealth.com. 17.9 million
The Hearst Corp., 17 million
Altria Group Inc., 16.5 million
