eBay leads retail, travel sites in unique traffic for week ending Jan. 25

EBay.com has a lock on unique visitors to the Top 10 retail, shopping and travel sites, reports Nielsen/NetRatings. For the week ending Jan. 25, eBay hosted 20.6 million unique visitors., followed by Amazon.com with 7.9 million.

EBay.com has a lock on unique visitors to the Top 10 retail, shopping and travel sites, reports Nielsen/NetRatings. For the week ending Jan. 25, eBay hosted 20.6 million unique visitors., followed by Amazon.com with 7.9 million. Next in order were:
• Dell.com, 5.2 million
• Yahoo Shopping, 3.7 million
• Expedia.com, 3.1 million
• Shopping.com, 3 million
• Orbitz.com, 2.6 million
• WalMart.com, 2.5 million
• Travelocity.com, 2.3 million
• Target.com, 2 million

The Top 10 retail, travel and shopping sites combined hosted 33.9 million unique visitors that week.

Nielsen/NetRatings also reports that Kellogg Co. garnered the most ad impressions among consumer goods advertisers for the week with 45.1 million impressions. Following Kellogg were:
• Mars Inc., 30.9 million
• Avon Products Inc., 30.7 million
• New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc., 23.2 million
• Ashland Inc., 22.9 million
• Altria Group Inc. 22.3 million
• Entertainment Publications, 19 million
• Trader Publishing Co., 18.6 million
• PepsiCo Inc., 18.4 million
• Bertelsmann AG, 17.6 million
