StoreNext appoints Raymond G. Carlin president and CEO

25-year IT veteran to drive growth at innovative supplier of technology solutions for independent grocers

PLANO, Texas – Dec. 15, 2003 - StoreNext Retail Technologies LLC announces the appointment of Raymond G. Carlin as president and chief executive officer. Carlin, 48, brings to StoreNext more than 25 years experience in the global information technology marketplace, including more than 20 years with NCR Corporation.

StoreNext is a joint venture of Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. and Retalix Ltd. (NASDAQ: RTLX). It is the only retail technology solutions company focused exclusively on independent grocers and the dealers that serve them.

In addition to his career at NCR, Carlin served as CEO of Zaiq Technologies, a privately held chip design services firm located in Woburn, Mass. In 2001 Zaiq was ranked 35th on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies. Prior to Zaiq, Carlin was president, Solution Group, Renaissance Worldwide, a management and IT consulting organization.
