Lawson`s Preferred Outsourcing Partner, Velocity Outsourcing, Lands First Retail Deal
ST. PAUL, Minn.--Nov. 6, 2003--eMac Digital today announced the signing of a five-year software hosting and support contract with Lawson Software`s preferred outsourcing partner, Velocity Outsourcing. eMac`s FSC subsidiary (Franchise Services Company, LLC), a leading provider of restaurant-focused technology solutions and business services to the global foodservice industry, selected Velocity Outsourcing to provide world-class hosting, application management and help desk support for its Lawson software and other related applications as part of this long term agreement.
eMac`s FSC subsidiary will use Lawson software applications along with Velocity`s capabilities to provide turn-key human resources and financials application services for its rapidly expanding base of multi-unit restaurant chains. Systems will be hosted within one of Verizon`s four hardened, large-scale data center facilities used by Velocity.
