September 25, 2003 -- Fry, Inc., a leading e-commerce design, development and managed services provider, today announced at the 2003 shop.org annual summit in New York City, that Brookstone, Inc., selected Fry to redesign its Gardeners Eden online catalog and add full e-commerce functionality to the site.

Brookstone is a specialty retailer that operates more than 260 Brookstone branded stores around the country, as well as three Gardeners Eden stores in the northeast. Additionally, Brookstone operates a successful Direct Marketing channel that includes the Brookstone, Hard to Find Tools and Gardeners Eden catalogs, and e-commerce web sites at www.brookstone.com and www.gardenerseden.com.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fry provides Web development, application support services, Internet hosting and security, systems integration and strategic consulting. In 2001, Brookstone contracted with Fry to redesign and rebuild its online store at www.brookstone.com, as well as to integrate the new site with Brookstone`s legacy systems and provide hosting and management services. The work completed for Gardeners Eden leverages functionality and capabilities developed under the terms of that contract to deliver a consistent shopping experience across both brands.

"We`re pleased to have the opportunity to expand the scope of our relationship with Brookstone and continue our service in support of one the industry’s most successful e-commerce sites and brands," said Fry CEO and founder David Fry. "The Gardeners Eden site design objectives centered on providing an exceptional user experience driven by ease of navigation, safe online transactions and rapid order processing in time for the upcoming holiday season."

Fry designs, builds, hosts, and manages Web applications for clients in the retail, financial, automotive, education, broadcasting and consumer packaged goods sectors. It recently swept the Web Marketing Association’s seventh annual WebAwards, where it earned 17 awards and the distinction as top web developer.
