Combination creates new category of marketing firm: branded promotional products and brand-centric email and interactive marketing
Milwaukee and Denver, Sept. 10, 2003 – Wild Impact Marketing (previously Wild Promotions) announced today it has completed its acquisition of Blue Ink Solutions, an interactive marketing company based in Denver. The resulting entity creates a new category of marketing firm aimed at driving customer acquisition, retention and growth through branded promotional products and brand-centric email and interactive marketing.
Wild Impact CEO David Prokupek said the company is now uniquely able to provide brand- and revenue-building marketing solutions across a variety of channels, from promotional-merchandise and incentive-product eStores, to online and offline incentive, loyalty and direct-response programs. Prokupek said the company is also addressing the complete value chain surrounding these channels through high-level competencies in brand and marketing strategy and creative asset development, and through proven technologies for program implementation and results measurement.
“By adding Blue Ink’s strategic and tactical interactive marketing capabilities to our promotional products business, we’ve created a new category I call ‘Below The Line’ marketing. It’s the ‘heavy lifting’ of marketing, and we’re the first to bring these services together to benefit clients,” Prokupek said.
