eBay stays on top of shopping destinations

The top shopping destination for the week ending Aug. 24 was eBay.com, with 15.08 million unique visitors who spent an average of 41 minutes 28 seconds at the site, reports Nielsen/NetRatings.

Next was Amazon, with 5.9 million unique visitors who stayed an average of 8 minutes, 50 seconds; Dell, 3.14 million and 9 minutes, 5 seconds; Expedia, 2.86 million, 9 minutes, 20 seconds; and Yahoo Shopping, 4 minutes, 41 seconds.

Among consumer goods online advertisers, Avon Products Inc. garnered the most ad impressions the week ending Aug. 24, with 89.14 million. The top 10 with impressions in millions were:
