Supply chain software developer Manugistics gets a new president

Jeremy Coote has been named Manugistics Group Inc.’s new president, responsible for global sales and marketing and reporting to chairman and CEO Gregory J. Owens.

Jeremy Coote has been named Manugistics Group Inc.’s new president, responsible for global sales and marketing and reporting to chairman and CEO Gregory J. Owens.

Most recently, Coote was president of SAP Americas, where he worked for 10 years. As president, he led SAP from inception in North America to over $2 billion in revenue. Coote was also general manager of Siebel North America, where he led the sales operations for two years.

"As one of the software industry`s leading veterans, Jeremy brings a wealth of proven leadership and experience to Manugistics," said Owens. "His track record of leading large software operations and driving business growth at both SAP Americas and Siebel will be integral as we take Manugistics to the next level as a leading independent, best of breed enterprise application provider. "

Manugistics, with more than 1,200 clients, develops supply chain and demand chain optimization software.
