eBay Electronics leads in online consumer electronics visitors

eBay Electronics hosted 2.4 million unique visitors for the week ending June 8, 39% of all traffic to computers and consumer electronics sites, according to Nielsen/NetRatings’ AdRelevance report.

The leading computers and consumer electronics retailing web site for the week ending June 8 was not one of the nationally known brands of consumer electronics chain stores: It was eBay Electronics, according to Nielsen/NetRatings’ AdRelevance report. EBay Electronics hosted 2.4 million unique visitors for the week, 39% of all traffic to computers and consumer electronics sites.

The leading computer and consumer electronics sites for the week and the number of visitors were:
eBay Electronics, 2.4 million
BestBuy.com, 1.4 million
Sony Electronics, 1.13 million
CircuitCity.com, 655,000
MSN Tech & Gadgets, 510,000.

The category hosted 6.2 million visitors for the week and each stayed an average of 8 minutes, 15 seconds.
