New Capabilities Enable Specialty Catalog and Internet Retailer to Sell Inventory on eBay Quickly and Easily

SAN JOSE, Calif. and TEWKSBURY, Mass. - April 16, 2003 – Brylane L.P., a catalog and Internet retailer of apparel and home products, has chosen the Accenture (NYSE: ACN) Connection to eBay™ service and Yantra 5x software applications to provide order management and fulfillment services, enabling Brylane to quickly and easily list, track and sell excess or overstocked inventory on eBay.

Accenture`s Connection to eBay service, which provides mid- and large-sized retailers, manufacturers and distributors with a cost-effective channel for selling large volumes of inventory, uses Yantra`s software to track and manage the order fulfillment process involving buyers, retailers, manufacturers and distributors.

For Brylane, Connection to eBay will use Yantra Distributed Order Management and Yantra Inventory Synchronization, both applications in the Yantra 5x product suite. Brylane anticipates that it will be able to realize substantially higher margins on merchandise sold through the Connection to eBay service than it might through using conventional liquidation methods.

"Selling large volumes of overstock or liquidated inventory necessitates that we have a robust order fulfillment solution," said Kevin Reedy, the Accenture partner who leads Connection to eBay. "Yantra`s software solutions enable us to provide our clients with the flexibility of different service options that best suit their needs while ensuring the same high level of service commensurate with our overall offering."

"Being selected by Accenture`s Connection to eBay to provide order management and fulfillment is a testament to the strength of our solutions," said Devdutt Yellurkar, president and CEO of Yantra. "We`re also pleased to add Brylane to the list of technology-savvy companies that have adopted our software as their solution for fulfilling customer orders on time, as promised and in a highly cost-effective way."

Accenture`s Connection to eBay, launched in May 2002, is an end-to-end service that offers companies selling inventory on eBay everything from simple listings to inventory management, warehousing and logistics. By increasing efficiencies in the listing and sales process, Connection to eBay can help sellers make more on each transaction than through traditional liquidation channels.
