SANFORD NAMES MEDIABIN TO MANAGE MARKETING ASSETS FOR ITS WRITING INSTRUMENT AND ART PRODUCTS

ATLANTA, March 31, 2003 - MediaBin Inc. today announced that Sanford, one of the largest divisions of Newell Rubbermaid Inc., is using MediaBin Digital Asset Management software to manage its thousands of marketing assets used to sell Sharpie®, Paper Mate®, Expo®, Parker®, and Waterman®, among other brands. The company manufacturers more than 6,000 writing instruments and art supply products.

Sanford is centralizing all marketing and brand assets in their MediaBin catalog, making brand-correct photos and logos accessible throughout the enterprise via a Web browser. This self-service access will speed the delivery of new assets and free the graphics and marketing staff from time-consuming asset searching, reformatting, and delivery for each unique application.

"With the MediaBin system in place, we are striving to save both time and money by cataloging all our assets and making them immediately available to our sales force and internal customers," said Mark Radoha, Director, Creative Services at Sanford. "At the same time, we can ensure the proper use of our brands across all of our North American offices."

Sanford plans to initially roll out the program in North America, with a global strategy in mind. The company is implementing the system in a phased approach.

"Sanford is a great example of how a company can realize immediate benefits from deploying a Digital Asset Management solution," said David Moran, MediaBin president and CEO. "Without a central catalog, assets are difficult to find and they cannot be reused or repurposed. MediaBin software enables Sanford to leverage the latent value of all of their marketing assets while increasing efficiency."
