LookSmart Renews Multi-Year Search Agreement with Road Runner

Distribution Agreement with Time Warner Cable Extended Until 2004

SAN FRANCISCO, March 6 -- LookSmart (NASDAQ:LOOK) , a global leader in search, today announced that the Company has extended its search relationship with Time Warner Cable`s Road Runner through April 30, 2004.

Under the extended agreement, LookSmart will provide Road Runner subscribers with editorially reviewed Web site results, powered by its award- winning WiseNut search technology. LookSmart will also provide keyword-based paid search listings in the Sponsored Listings section of RoadRunner search results. LookSmart has provided search listings for RoadRunner since February 2000.
