Blair’s web sales grew 63% last year

Web sales at clothing retailer Blair Corp. grew 63% last year to $57 million from $35 million, the Warren, PA-based company reports. Companywide sales grew 2% to $580.7 million from $568.5 million. The web accounted for 9.8% of all sales last year vs. 6% the year before.

Net income for the year was $19.1 million vs. $9.3 million the previous year.

Blair’s president and CEO John E. Zawacki characterizes the web as one of Blair’s growth initiatives.
