Chicago, USA, Jan. 20, 2003 – Pindar Systems, the leader in content and commerce technology, today announced that Brian Murphy has joined the company as the new Vice President of Sales, North America.
Murphy, with more than a decade of corporate leadership and executive sales experience in enterprise software and systems, will head Pindar Systems’ direct and channel sales development in North America. He will oversee Pindar Systems’ US sales staff and grow and coordinate the joint sales efforts with Pindar consulting and integration partners in the United States and Canada.

Formerly a Vice President of Sales at IONA Technologies, Murphy brings more than a decade of industry experience in the software and services sector with companies selling integration services, object database technology, B2B sell-side catalog aggregation and integrated middleware.
A former Captain in the US Marine Corps, Murphy’s experience also includes positions with Fourthchannel, a leading provider of licensed and hosted ISS software, Selectica, a CRM company providing configuration software to the Fortune 500, and Excelon (fka Object Design).
