SAN RAFAEL, CA.-SEPTEMBER 3, 2002-Equilibrium, a leading provider of rich-media servers for the enterprise and majority-owned operating company of CMGI, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMGI), today announced that Stanley Works (NYSE: “SWK”), a global supplier of tools, doors, and hardware for professional, industrial, and consumer use, has selected Equilibrium® MediaRich™ Image Server to complement and expand the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint™ Portal Server. The dynamic imaging integration will reduce time and costs for generating, managing and deploying digital assets from a central content repository.
Equilibrium MediaRich is server-based imaging software that automates the production and enables the dynamic delivery visual assets to the Web, print media and smart devices. By integrating MediaRich Image Server with Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, CriticalSites, a leading IT consulting firm, will automate the distribution of image assets, normally stored, retrieved, and distributed through fragmented systems and channels.
