Even though retailers blame the cooler weather for less-than-stunning sales this Spring, some online divisions fared well:

-New York-based designer clothing online outlet Bluefly Inc. announced that its net sales for May 2002 increased more than 19% to $2.5 million from $2.1 million during May 2001.
-Hampstead, MD-based Jos. A. Bank Clothiers Inc. continues to rack up sales increases, posting a combined catalog and Internet sales increase of 31.7% for the four months ending June.
-San Francisco-based Sharper Image Corp. reported a 34% increase in Internet sales this May, climbing to $4.8 million from last May’s $3.8 million.
