San Jose, CA and New York, NY- April 29, 2002 -- @pos.com, Inc. [OTCBB: EPOS] and Praxell today announced a joint marketing agreement between their companies. @pos is a leading transaction point-of-sale (POS) provider of hardware, software and ASP services for information capture and retrieval alongside card-based payments. Praxell is a leading provider of stored value transaction services, such as gift and loyalty cards, for major merchants. Under this agreement, each company will promote and sell the other company’s products and services to the U.S. retail chain marketplace.

The agreement highlights the benefits of integrating Praxell’s stored value solution into @pos’ web-enabled iPOS TCÔ point-of-sale terminals. Praxell’s stored value solution is entirely IP (internet protocol) based, integrating directly into the iPOS TC’s Internet connection. The Praxell solution – called Plug N’ WorkÔ – provides retailers with the flexibility and ease of integration into multi-channel retailing with lucrative gift card and loyalty programs. Also, the iPOS TC can be deployed in a kiosk station with direct access to the Praxell service so customers can access their accounts for transaction details and balances.

@pos’ President and CEO, John Wood, remarked on the agreement, “Praxell’s selection of @pos reflects the appeal of IP connectivity and browser capabilities in the @pos platform. This relationship reinforces our vision of web-enabled POS terminals bringing innovative services, like Praxell’s, to the point-of-sale and point-of-service.”

“With the ever increasing demand for stored value solutions, the @pos iPOS TC terminal and its IP connectivity matched Praxell’s architecture and needs,” Moshe Golomb, CEO of Praxell. “Chain retailers that deploy @pos products can now offer our IP-based, multi-channel loyalty and gift card program services to their customers at the physical POS with minimal integration into legacy store systems.”

The Praxell stored value solution was successfully demonstrated integrated with @pos’ iPOS TC at the National Retail Federation conference in January 2002.
