eBay Selects Intel Online Services For Web Hosting Facilities

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 2, 2002 -- Intel Online Services, Inc. has been selected by eBay, the world`s online marketplace, to host a portion of its operations as part of eBay`s continuing Web hosting diversification strategy.

Intel Online Services provides managed Web services and hosting capabilities for companies worldwide through a network of data centers and a range of infrastructure and application hosting services. Intel Online Services offers reliability, security, and the ability to serve customers like eBay with mission critical support and service.

The selection of Intel Online Services marks the newest phase of eBay`s ongoing strategy to identify additional Web hosting capacity for its rapidly growing marketplace of nearly 42 million registered users.
