Lands’ End names Karen Centner VP of e-commerce

Lands’ End has promoted Karen Centner, who is overseeing the rollout of Lands’ End Custom, to vice president, general merchandising manager for e-commerce and international.

Lands’ End Inc. has promoted Karen Centner to vice president, general merchandising manager for e-commerce and international. Centner has been part of Lands’ End’s Internet group, which has grown web sales to 20% of Lands’ End business. She most recently has overseen the rollout of Lands` End Custom, an online service that allows shoppers to customize selected apparel items to their fit. Centner’s position is a newly created spot, Lands’ End says. Centner has been with Lands’ End for 15 years.

Lands’ End also has named Randy Peterson vice president, engineering and facilities services. He recently managed the construction of the company`s Stevens Point, Wis., facility and is managing the concept planning for the company`s new sortation system.
