"We won our leadership position by paying careful attention to our business model, and we continue to keep our eye on the ball. By leveraging the scalability of our logistics centers, we are able to improve our operational costs, while continuing to offer our customers the same great wines and service," said Peter S. Ekman, president and CEO.

Residents of Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming, formerly served by the Oregon logistics center, will be served by the Washington center. Consumers in Alaska, California, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, West Virginia and Wisconsin will be served by the California logistics center.

"Our first commitment has always been to provide excellent customer service," said Brett E. Lauter, vice president and chief marketing officer. "Last year, we made a concentrated effort to improve the systems and processes at our logistics centers to be able to efficiently handle holiday season sales volumes.
