Minneapolis - January 10, 2002 * Retek Inc. today announced its support for the IBM eServer pSeries 690 (code-named "Regatta"). Powered by IBM`s breakthrough POWER4 gigaprocessor and equipped with advanced self-healing and self-managing capabilities, the p690 is an excellent complement to Retek 10. Retek 10, available in March 2002, encompasses Retek`s full footprint of modular, integrated applications combined with Retek`s patented predictive technology, retail experience, excellent service and rapid deployment capabilities.
The IBM eServer p690 server increases the range of manageable and scalable IBM platforms for Retek`s leading retail CRM, merchandising, supply chain and logistics solutions.
