EBAY and DIGIBID IN SOFTWARE PACT

Kurt Peters

Senior Executive Editor

Miami, Florida -- December 13, 2001 -- Digibid (www.digibid.com), an enterprise-class auction management software company has entered into an agreement with eBay inc., the leading person-to-person trading community.

Under the agreement, Digibid will integrate its auction management software platform exclusively with eBay`s trading community so that companies using the Digibid system to create and manage auction listings will have access to the 37 million buyer-strong eBay marketplace.

By integrating with eBay`s Application Program Interface (API), Digibid will provide a seamless way for merchants to manage all aspects of the auction process with or without their own branded auction site and gain exposure for their listings on Ebay`s site. This offering is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2002.

Developed as a auction management platform for retailers, distributors and manufacturers to conduct auctions of new and excess inventory, Digibid`s software offering includes a comprehensive set of features including order fulfillment, inventory and warehouse management and CRM (customer relationship management) as well as pre and post auction management and payment processing.

According to Digibid CEO Matt Brosious, "Unlike other available auction management solutions, the Digibid system was developed from the ground up to effectively manage the operations of an inventory-based business selling large quantities of product at auction on the internet.

Previously, many companies have avoided on-line sales due to labor-intensive nature of manual procedures that were necessary. Digibid has automated these processes and simplified on-line selling. Integrating with market leader eBay opens up the platform to the worlds largest online marketplace"

The total value of goods sold on the Internet, in categories serviced by eBay will reach the $2 trillion mark by 2005.
