BlueLight.com gets back into the flower business

Kmart Corp.’s BlueLight.com is re-launching its flower section with an expanded selection.

Kmart Corp.’s BlueLight.com is re-launching its flower section with an expanded selection. BlueLight.com had offered flowers in about 30 SKUs when it launched, then dropped flowers when it transferred operation of the site to Global Sports Inc. in September.

Now, with the holidays approaching, BlueLight is re-launching the flower section with 70 SKUs and more to be added. BlueLight says its goal in the first quarter will be to allow customers to select the date and the time of their flower delivery.

Flower orders are fulfilled by FloraGift or by local florists through FloraGift.
