Plus Ventures LLC has launched PlusGuys.com, an e-shopping mall for clothing for big and tall men. The men’s site joins PlusSize.com for women.
The site features links to KingSize Direct, Spiegel, Eddie Bauer, Big Dogs, Lands` End, J. Crew, Old Navy, Fingerhut, and The Sharper Image. It also offers products from such specialty retailers as Dicks Sporting Goods, REI, and Bass Pro Shops.
"As the nation`s leading provider of clothing for big and tall men, Casual Male is always looking to expand its presence on the Internet, and we expect PlusGuys.com to help us achieve this goal," says Chris Hoenes, web marketing manager for Casual Male Big & Tall. "PlusGuys.com should appeal to big and tall men, as well as to the women in their lives who are interested in buying fine quality clothing at reasonable prices."
The site has been designed to appeal to women shoppers as well as men and features gifts in addition to clothing. Plus Ventures is launching the site with a sweepstakes for a $500 gift-certificate to any retail partner. The market for big and tall men’s clothing is more than $5 billion a year, the company says.
