E-commerce service provider Beyond.com, which also sells software and hardware products online to consumers and other markets, is expanding its online consumer store with the launch of the Beyond.com Shopping Mall. The Shopping Mall is a merchandised product portal that links online shoppers directly to manufacturers whose online stores are built and hosted by Santa Clara, CA-based Beyond.com, as well as to Beyond.com’s affiliate partners. “We believe the Shopping Mall will benefit consumers as well as our eStore clients,” says Jim Campbell, vice president of marketing. “It will enable consumers to purchase products directly from the manufacturer in many cases, and provides increased exposure, traffic and promotional opportunities for our eStore clients.”
