Circuit City launches a web-based satisfaction survey for store shoppers

Circuit City with BizRate.com is encouraging store shoppers to register their opinions about Circuit City online. The survey’s URL is printed on receipts.

Circuit City Stores Inc. has launched an online survey to give consumers a new channel for communicating their store experiences to the company.

Circuit City`s online customers have been able to participate in customer satisfaction surveys from BizRate.com for almost a year. The surveys now extend to customers at Circuit City`s more than 600 bricks-and-mortar stores nationwide. Checkout receipts at Circuit City stores invite customers to visit a special web site to register comments on their shopping experience. Participants are automatically registered in Circuit City`s Customer Satisfaction Sweepstakes.

"We`re determined to offer a level of customer service that is unmatched by any other national retailer in the consumer electronics industry,” said W. Alan McCollough, president and CEO of Circuit City. “We truly value the opinions of our customers, and now every one of them, whether they visit our stores or our web site, has a chance to utilize this online feedback tool."
