Restoration Hardware hires a new COO from RedEnvelope

Tom Bazzone, former president and COO of RedEnvelope.com, has become executive vice president and COO of Restoration Hardware.

Tom Bazzone, former president and COO of RedEnvelope.com, has become executive vice president and COO of Restoration Hardware and joined Restoration Hardware’s board of directors. RedEnvelope says it is conducting a search for a new president.

“We thank Tom for the valuable role he played in establishing RedEnvelope as one of the premier upscale brands in America and we wish him well,” said Martin McClanan, CEO of RedEnvelope. “Fortunately, our company has grown to a place where the organization is well equipped to continue to meet and exceed its goals.”

Bazzone will be responsible for direct-to-customer operations, distribution, systems, inventory management and human resources.

Bazzone joined RedEnvelope in 1999 and held day-to-day responsibility for merchandising, inventory management, fulfillment, customer service and human resources. Before joining RedEnvelope, Bazzone spent four years at Williams-Sonoma Inc. in various positions, including vice president of merchandise operations for the direct-to-customer division and overseeing the planning and inventory management functions for all five of Williams-Sonoma`s catalogs.
