Amazon selects Speedera Networks to stream digital content

Amazon.com plans to use Speedera Networks to stream digital content such as movie trailers, music videos and video game previews.

Internet Retailer

Amazon.com has selected Speedera Networks to provide streaming media services for its customers worldwide, allowing them to experience high-quality streamed samples and previews of Amazon.com’s audio, video and game products. Streams are delivered from Speedera’s global edge network, so end users receive content from a local server instead of having to wait for a download from the point of origin, which can result in lost connections, user frustration and high wait times.
